Richie Westfall is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Leviton’s Lighting & Controls business unit. He has led the acquisition and integration of Leviton’s five lighting brands, establishing Leviton as a presence in the lighting industry. Richie’s goal is to strengthen each individual lighting brand with innovative products, creative business opportunities, and exceptional customer support.
In his 40-years plus at Leviton, Richie has held numerous positions, starting in operations at Leviton’s founding Brooklyn facility, to key management positions throughout the company and across the country. In 1992 he relocated to El Paso, Texas where he was instrumental in establishing Leviton’s operations from the ground up. He then moved to Austin, Texas to run the operations of our very first lighting controls acquisition, Macro Electronics. He moved to Portland, Oregon in 2000 to integrate the entire Macro operation into the acquired NSI/Colortran company which formed Leviton’s Lighting Controls Division. Since that time, he has led the acquisition and integration of numerous other companies creating our lighting, metering and verification, and Smart Home businesses.
Richie is active in industry and trade organizations, advancing the role of lighting and controls in energy conservation, wellness, and sustainability.
